Our five music buses visit over 40 primary schools throughout the Wellington region.

Music lessons are taught during the school day and instruments are provided – it’s the perfect, affordable way to get your child into music lessons without the hassle of managing drop-offs and pick-ups.

Students can learn drums, keyboard, ukulele, or guitar or take a term of Introduction to Music to have a crack at them all.

Onboard our buses are Wellington’s best music teachers. Our Goodtime Music Academy tutors are qualified musicians and teachers who love music, and are committed to creating lessons they would’ve been itching to attend as kids.

And, all our students have the opportunity to be involved in performance concerts, workshops, holiday programmes and competitions.

The Goodtime Academy curriculum was developed by professional musicians and teachers. Our curriculum covers drums, keyboard, ukulele and guitar. To keep the love of music and performing going after lessons, we’ve developed an at-home custom curriculum for our students. This fantastic resource includes workbooks and a suite of over 150 videos to make practicing and learning at home a breeze.

GROUP LESSONS

With a maximum of five students per class, our teachers are able to focus on the needs of individual students, while giving children a chance to experience the thrill of playing alongside new friends.

INTRODUCTION TO MUSIC

The perfect option for students getting started with music lessons. Each student has the chance to play all four instruments. (Though not at the same time.  We are not a circus school.)

Lessons are $225 per term or $75 per month - you choose!

It’s more than music lessons. It’s a club.
